This class provides the student with a comprehensive overview of the Avid Xpress® Pro interface and how to optimize the interface for forensic video examinations. Forensic topics include evidence handling procedures, note taking, evidence examination techniques, case deliverables, presentation techniques, and report writing. Each of the basic forensic filters available for Avid are explained and used extensively while students work on video cases. Tips and tricks for working in Avid with video evidence will also be explored. Students will receive a manual with step-by-step instructions of all areas covered in the class.
